How to create an Instragram List from a Hashtag?

Searching people on Instagram by hashtags they used is a great way to identify those who have similar interests. It could be a restaurant, a concert, an outdoor activity, or a lifestyle. There wasn't an easy way for you to do this will going through a very long process of searching, copying, pasting, and saving it on a file.

Using Listpedia you can create a list of Instagram accounts using a hashtag in less than a minute and it's so easy you won't believe it. Once you have a list, you can easily follow the accounts, share the list with friends, export to Excel, and promote it for people to follow.

Here is how you do it.

  1. Go to listpedia.org and click on Make List (you might need to sign in or sign up at this point), and select Instagram List.
  2. Give your list a name and click continue.
  3. Under the Enter Instagram Accounts or a link box, enter the hashtag you want it to search and find accounts using it and click add.

Listpedia will search Instagram for up to 250 accounts using that hashtag and automatically add it to your list. Gasp!

Since this is powered by Instagram Search functionality, it might be that we can't identify more than 250 accounts at any given moment. If it's a hashtag that's very popular or an event that's happening at that very moment, you might want to do that again a few hours later to add more accounts to your list.

It's also a good idea to scan the accounts found to avoid adding spam accounts. It's not uncommon for Spammers to use a hashtag just to show up on trending topics.
